travel europe germany bavaria rothenburg ob der tauber kriminal museum

The Medieval Crime and Justice Museum as it is now called, is large, clean, and well presented.
The instruments of torture displayed here are often very intricate and inventive.
Its amazing to think how much energy the human race has been put into equipment to torture people who don't believe as they do.
Although, I believe, the frequency with which these instruments were used was relatively small compared to the implications of this exhibit,
it is still a "sensational" part of history which draws a lot of attention from today's society.
This trip, I agreed to accompany my grandchildren because the others did not want to go.
Still, if you haven't seen one of these mueums before, this is one of the best ones.
